HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION LAW AND MANAGEMENT WESTSIDE EXTENSION
Over the course of two Saturday mornings, March 3 & 10, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Westside Extension program at West Los Angeles College in Culver City will present a course entitled "Homeowners Association Law and Management."
COURSE INSTRUCTOR: Jeanne H. McDonald is a practicing attorney with 19 years of experience in all aspects of representing homeowners associations.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This valuable course is for property managers, property owners, board members, attorneys and anyone else involved with homeowners associations. So many properties are pad of an association but HOA management and legal issues can be very complex. If you are a Board member or a professional who deals with condominiums, stock co-ops, or planned developments, you need to understand the relevant laws and procedures to manage legally and effectively, and owners need the same knowledge to protect their interests. Attorney Jeanne H. McDonald specializes in HOA issues and she will provide you with an overall understanding of the unique legal and practical aspects of HOA ownership and management. The focus will be on rules, collections, meetings and voting, maintenance and repairs, and Board obligations.
